  • Build useful things

Every workshop means making something you'll actually use, like a Pomodoro clock or desk lamp, so you learn the skills and leave with something functional to show off or inspire your next build.

  • Lead with curiosity

Learning to design and build things should be fun and self-directed. That's why all our workshops are hands-on: to equip you with the skills and confidence to explore on your own (or at Office Hours!)

  • Demystify complexity

Think Ms. Frizzle meets Mythbusters. Our goal is to help you understand things at a fundamental level so you can comfortably prototype and think using the language of design and fabrication.
